Products Description
Pure nickel wire with good mechanical properties over a wide range of temperature and excellent resistance to many corrosives, in particular hydroxides.
Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions. Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state. In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions the material shows good resistance, but in oxidizing salt solutions severe attack will occur. Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550℃. Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid.
0.025mm pure nickel wire is a fine, thin wire made of nickel, a versatile metal known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity, and thermal stability. Pure nickel wire is often used in various high-performance applications due to these properties, especially in industries such as electronics, aerospace, and chemical processing.
Key Characteristics of 0.025mm Pure Nickel Wire:
Corrosion Resistance: Pure nickel has excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in neutral and alkaline environments. It also withstands oxidation in high-temperature settings.
Electrical Conductivity: Nickel has good electrical conductivity, making it suitable for applications in electrical components and circuits where reliability and performance are critical.
Thermal Stability: Nickel retains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for high-temperature applications such as heating elements and thermocouples.
Ductility: Despite being a hard metal, pure nickel is ductile, meaning it can be drawn into very thin wires without breaking. The 0.025mm wire is an example of this, offering precision in applications requiring fine wires.
Applications:
Electronics: Due to its good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, pure nickel wire is used in the manufacturing of electronic components, battery connectors, and wiring for specialized circuits.
Heating Elements: Nickel's ability to withstand high temperatures makes it ideal for use in heating elements, thermocouples, and resistance wires.
Aerospace: The aerospace industry uses pure nickel wire in high-temperature applications and components that require resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
Medical Devices: Due to its biocompatibility, pure nickel wire is sometimes used in medical devices, especially in situations where precision and reliability are paramount.
Research and Development: In labs and R&D facilities, fine nickel wire is often used for experiments requiring specific electrical and thermal properties.
Specifications:
Diameter: 0.025mm (25 microns).
Purity: Typically, pure nickel wire has a purity level of 99.6% or higher, depending on the manufacturer and specific grade.
Form: The wire is often supplied on spools to prevent tangling and ensure ease of handling during manufacturing processes.
Key Benefits:
High Precision: The ultra-fine 0.025mm diameter allows for high precision in sensitive applications.
Durability: Despite its thinness, pure nickel wire remains strong and durable, with excellent resistance to mechanical wear and tear.
Versatility: Its range of beneficial properties makes it suitable for diverse applications across many industries.
